Blog Buddies, Ahoy!

So, the wonderful people over at make life a joy. Now, with their newest venture, they have set my imagination on fire. They propose hooking up with someone in the blogoverse in order to motivate one another to achieve their goals. How sweet is that? Especially titillating is the fact that it might lead to someone actually reading and linking back to my blog. How excitig is that?

So, if you are looking to be my blog buddy, here us a short dash of what I propose:

  1. Although I am going for Post A Day, I cannot post everyday, owing to professional pressures. That is why, I go on small blitzes, usually thrice a week, where I end up making several posts: enough to satisfy the number game (and more)!
  2. My blog is about stuffus medicus in general. Very niche. I know. That’s what makes it fun to read, and readerless, at the same time!
  3. I try to be funny. but fail magnificently almost always.
  4. I promise to send LOADS of link backs to your blog, if you become my buddy!
  5. If you live in my neck of the woods, I promise to take you out for Pizza if you manage to give my blogs 100 hits! πŸ™‚

See. Be my friend. I am a great guy!

  1. I nearly studied medicine, but then I became a lawyer (repeat that, and I’ll sue you for defamation). I still find medical issues fascinating – although I have to say your blog may be somewhat over my head. I often have medical questions – perhaps I can lob them your way?

    • Defamation? hey! Not sweet! πŸ˜›

Be free to lob them over, and lemme see what I can make of them! And I have queries relating to medical ethics and medical law: would you ind mulling over them? πŸ™‚

So what are you doing? PaD or PaW?

  2. itshaphazard

Hmm, I find your blog interesting O.O My stepdad wanted me to take Medicine but I already screwed up my subjects so I can’t take it at all xD

Anyways, the pizza sounds nice, πŸ˜› I’ll be your blog buddy πŸ™‚

  4. Make it vegan pizza and I’m in.

  5. hello blog buddy..i put you on my blog buddy list..i was going to comment on some of your posts but they made my head hurt…ok not really, but you are obviously much smarter than i…i do like pizza, spinach, chicken , roasted red peppers and smoke gouda on mine please

    • how does roasted red peppers work? :O sounds scary!

    • you take a red pepper, you roast it over an open flame , or under a broiler, on a grill , even on a hot griddle…after it gets charred black all over, pop it into a paper bag, seal the bag and let it steam for 10 minutes or so…remove and peel off the charred skin leaving the roasted pepper “meat”…takes away the bitterness of the skin and enhances the earthy sweetness of the pepper…also makes it easier to digest for folks who have a problem with cellulose

    • OK, forgive me for being a retarded cook, how do I steam the thing? Like hang the paper bag over a pot of boiling water or something?

  6. ok, i am throwing in with the medical blog. maybe it will help me get over my medical anxiety πŸ™‚ where do you live? how can i collect my pizza???

  7. Hey, found your blog from the Daily Post at WordPress, and followed over here ‘cuz I thought it looked interesting! I still have a healthy dose of interest in the medical world, from my brief period as a nursing student… My blog has quite a different focus than yours (writing) so I’m not sure if blogging buddies would work, but I wanted to let you know anyways I’d be coming back to read this!

  8. Will a writer/model/actress be able to comprehend Though I do love a challenge… count me in too!

    • Why not? It’s just about trying to ask AND answer “WHY” a lot! πŸ™‚ I’m gonna add you to my blog buddy list on the sidebar and subscribe to your blog. Love the looks of your blog. Not pale and bookish looking like mine. LOL

  11. I am going to be a medical student this fall! I think linking to your blog would be a good thing for me. Although my blog is not very medical yet, I hope in the future to talk some about my experiences as a med student.

    Count me in!

    • Alright! That’s fantastic. Trust me, I regret the fact that I did not have a blog in my med school days! There are so many things that you’d like to talk about! This is gonna be great. Blog buds!

  12. Hi, may I add you to my blog buddy list as well? I signed up for the Post a Day over at the Daily Post at WordPress.

I’m a freelance writer who specializes in fitness and health topics, and I’m moving from print to online writing. I’d love to add you since I think we’re similar enough with you being a medial pro.

  13. Would love to be your blog buddy – I post all the time during the week – but would love to have someone linking back to me.

BTW – your blog is very interesting.

  14. I done a few presentations on kawasaki disease, and I know some other stuff about medicine. But I mostly suck at it. xD.

That orly owl reminds me of someone that goes by the name December. Haha.

So anyways, if you’re interested in fictional stories feel free to check out my blog. ^^. I’m going to subscribe to yours now.

    • My blog had such a surge in traffic today o.o. Its so weird. I logged in and I was like “wow, huh?”. Its so surprising.

If you’re interested I can send you the pdf of the presentation I gave a while ago. I like weird and random topics. I’m an odd person. o.O

Kate was surprised as well, sadly she was sick today, but is feeling better now. She got on to pounce me about the feature, pleased her and me! πŸ˜€

  15. Lone Diamond

hey, silly question – how do you get the links and descriptions on you buddy list? I want to do the same!

    • Go to the Links on the wp-admin panel. Create a new category. Name it, add a description, then click on the create links option and keep adding to them. Let me know hiw this goers: this is reallyh not difficult to set up!

  16. Hi there! I’ll be your blog buddy! Look at today’s post & you’ll see that I could have used you during the last year. πŸ™‚ BTW you can schedule posts to be posted at a later date. That’s what I do for weekends. I write them during the week & schedule them to post on Saturdays for the daily postings. Happy blogging!

  17. What’s Up Doc! Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. I stopped by your blog for a peep and I like it! May we be blog buddies too? I had to pass up on pie this morning. So, could I have double topp’n of cheese on my pizza. I have room for it. Thanks!

    • What kinda person passes up on pies? 😑 And when it comes to cheese, well, I am always extra greedy! πŸ˜› Sure, we’ll be bloggy bugs.I will add you to my blogger buddy box and sub to your offerings. Here I go!

  18. The kind of person who doesn’t want to be on life support after a coronary, because she decided to go on a morning jog to burn off a dozen donuts she had for breakfast that morning. That’s who!
    Thanks Buddy!

PS. Later, I’ll posting a SHOUT-OUT about you on my blog. I got homework to do now.

  19. I couldn’t resist at least visiting Dr. Skeptic after all the posts at WP. You are too hilarious! Love the cartoon! Reading the medical stuff – if I can’t pronunce it, should it be prescribed? LOL…
Thanks for the tips on adding links – I may have to add you just for the fun of it!
Sorry, can’t make it for pizza – can they deliver?
    Still laughing…

    • Oh come on, what fun is eating a delivered pizza? We should all troop out in a bunch! πŸ™‚ LOL

I would love to read your blog, but your profile name does not link back to your blog. 😦

  20. I’d like to buddy up with you but I’m afraid I’m not going to understand a single word of what you post. Would you still like to give it a shot?

    • Oh come on. It ain’t like that! I blog about my crappy life as well! LOL

Love to be blog buds. You go straight to the buddy box on the side and I’m off to read your blog and sub to you. πŸ™‚

    • Awesome, I’ll make sure to read every single word.

  22. I just wanted to note that I’m very grateful for your, erm, buddyship πŸ˜€

As I’ve said before, yours is an amazing blog; I’m meticulously examining it right now. I particularly enjoy anything medical. In other words, I love everything, haha.

It’s unfortunate that I will be unable to redeem that pizza – I’ve been strangely hungry for the past three days.

Additionally, I intend to write a post about Scepticemia in the near future – I’m presently swamped with studying for a calculus test, though. Do you like math and/or physics-related items, too?

    • Thanks for the kind words. I love the way you write about science and it is unbelievable that you are just in high school! I used to be great in Physics when I was in high school, but since then, have fallen out of touch: and its been quite some time… and Maths, well, lets just say I sucked bad at it! πŸ™‚

I look forward to “reviewing” your blog soon, since it interests me a lot!

And as for the buddyship, trust me when I say this, the pleasure is entirely mine!
