Blog Buddies, Ahoy!

So, the wonderful people over at wordpress.com make life a joy. Now, with their newest venture, they have set my imagination on fire. They propose hooking up with someone in the blogoverse in order to motivate one another to achieve their goals. How sweet is that? Especially titillating is the fact that it might lead to someone actually reading and linking back to my blog. How excitig is that?

So, if you are looking to be my blog buddy, here us a short dash of what I propose:

  1. Although I am going for Post A Day, I cannot post everyday, owing to professional pressures. That is why, I go on small blitzes, usually thrice a week, where I end up making several posts: enough to satisfy the number game (and more)!
  2. My blog is about stuffus medicus in general. Very niche. I know. That’s what makes it fun to read, and readerless, at the same time!
  3. I try to be funny. but fail magnificently almost always.
  4. I promise to send LOADS of link backs to your blog, if you become my buddy!
  5. If you live in my neck of the woods, I promise to take you out for Pizza if you manage to give my blogs 100 hits! 🙂

See. Be my friend. I am a great guy!

  1. I nearly studied medicine, but then I became a lawyer (repeat that, and I’ll sue you for defamation). I still find medical issues fascinating – although I have to say your blog may be somewhat over my head. I often have medical questions – perhaps I can lob them your way?

    1. Defamation? hey! Not sweet! 😛

Be free to lob them over, and lemme see what I can make of them! And I have queries relating to medical ethics and medical law: would you ind mulling over them? 🙂

So what are you doing? PaD or PaW?

  3. hello blog buddy..i put you on my blog buddy list..i was going to comment on some of your posts but they made my head hurt…ok not really, but you are obviously much smarter than i…i do like pizza, spinach, chicken , roasted red peppers and smoke gouda on mine please

    1. you take a red pepper, you roast it over an open flame , or under a broiler, on a grill , even on a hot griddle…after it gets charred black all over, pop it into a paper bag, seal the bag and let it steam for 10 minutes or so…remove and peel off the charred skin leaving the roasted pepper “meat”…takes away the bitterness of the skin and enhances the earthy sweetness of the pepper…also makes it easier to digest for folks who have a problem with cellulose

  5. Hey, found your blog from the Daily Post at WordPress, and followed over here ‘cuz I thought it looked interesting! I still have a healthy dose of interest in the medical world, from my brief period as a nursing student… My blog has quite a different focus than yours (writing) so I’m not sure if blogging buddies would work, but I wanted to let you know anyways I’d be coming back to read this!

  6. I am going to be a medical student this fall! I think linking to your blog would be a good thing for me. Although my blog is not very medical yet, I hope in the future to talk some about my experiences as a med student.

    Count me in!

  7. Hi, may I add you to my blog buddy list as well? I signed up for the Post a Day over at the Daily Post at WordPress.

I’m a freelance writer who specializes in fitness and health topics, and I’m moving from print to online writing. I’d love to add you since I think we’re similar enough with you being a medial pro.

  11. The kind of person who doesn’t want to be on life support after a coronary, because she decided to go on a morning jog to burn off a dozen donuts she had for breakfast that morning. That’s who!
    Thanks Buddy!

PS. Later, I’ll posting a SHOUT-OUT about you on my blog. I got homework to do now.

    1. No. Just kidding, not a dozen. Just two donuts is the max my stomach can hold, but it feels like a dozen to me when I do consume two donuts. Can’t help myself.

  14. I just wanted to note that I’m very grateful for your, erm, buddyship 😀

As I’ve said before, yours is an amazing blog; I’m meticulously examining it right now. I particularly enjoy anything medical. In other words, I love everything, haha.

It’s unfortunate that I will be unable to redeem that pizza – I’ve been strangely hungry for the past three days.

Additionally, I intend to write a post about Scepticemia in the near future – I’m presently swamped with studying for a calculus test, though. Do you like math and/or physics-related items, too?

    Like

    1. Thanks for the kind words. I love the way you write about science and it is unbelievable that you are just in high school! I used to be great in Physics when I was in high school, but since then, have fallen out of touch: and its been quite some time… and Maths, well, lets just say I sucked bad at it! 🙂

I look forward to “reviewing” your blog soon, since it interests me a lot!

And as for the buddyship, trust me when I say this, the pleasure is entirely mine!
