So, I have been reading several of my blogging mates writing on their blogs medical questions and queries and I was wondering if I could do something similar on my blog as well. I was worried that it might not be in keeping with the tone of my blog, but my blogging mentor, Nipon, assured me that “everything goes”! So, here goes the first post in the series of MediQuizzes.
[A brief note on MediQuiz: this is a tradition which is rampant in our medical school and was further popularized by our peer to peer conversational learning/academic interest group on Facebook, Tabula Rasa. This is basically using both the cerebral hemispheres to not just use lateral thinking, but collateral thinking as well to solve medical riddles and puzzles. Revolutionized by Dr. Krishnendu Mukherjee, an alumnus and a much revered surgeon, this has become a very popular fad in our medical school, which, further fuelled by me and Parijat, has come to be known as Linking Park (no copyright infringement intended)]
