The Dutch CONCOVID Trial intended to look at the effect of convalescent plasma therapy on mortality in COVID-19 patients. It has recently been halted after recruiting only about a fifth of its calculated sample size after some very unexpected results were observed. These are my quick thoughts on the matter!
